Zanetti, Cruz, Figo winners at Gentleman '08

MILAN - The annual San Siro Gentleman awards ceremony took place last night at the Alcatraz discotheque in Milan.

Javier Zanetti won the FC Internazionale Gentleman award, with Luis Figo and Julio Ricardo Cruz also among the winners.

Bedy Moratti was presented with a special award to mark Inter's Centenary, before the most emotional moment of the evening when Gianfelice Facchetti carried off another special award on behalf of his father Giacinto.

The Best Goal award, voted for by subscribers to Inter Channel, went to Javier Zanetti for this season's goal against Roma, beating nominations for the goals by Luis Jimenez (vs Torino) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (vs CSKA Moscow).

During the event a donation was made to Zanetti's PUPI Foundation.
