MILAN - Along with Dacourt, Uruguayan striker Alvaro Recoba was the only outfield player who hadn't scored for the first team this season. But El Chino added his name to the long list of scorers with a spectacular goal directly from a corner in the 3-1 win against Empoli.

"I was happy to play today, and I really wanted to score because my whole family was there," he said.

"I'm really happy, I was part of the happiness of these wonderful fans. This fills me with satisfaction, I'm very happy to celebrate in front of our crowd.

"My future? I have always said that I want to be in good form, then I will decide."
