Recoba joins Torino on loan

MILAN - Alvaro Recoba has completed a loan move to Torino. The documents relating to the transfer were signed this morning by Inter vice president Rinaldo Ghelfi and technical director Marco Branca, and Torino president Urbano Cairo and managing director Stefano Antonelli. The player was present during the meeting.

For Recoba, who has collected 261 appearances for Inter and scored 72 goals, winning 2 Scudettos, 2 Italian Cups, 2 Italian Super Cups and 1 UEFA Cup, it is his second loan move to another club since arriving in Italy in the summer of 1997. He played for Venezia from January to June in 1999.

Inter wishes Alvaro Recoba the best of luck at Torino.
