MILAN - Dejan Stankovic underwent medical tests on his injured ankle after returning to Milan from Palermo with his team-mates earlier this evening. The tests were performed by Inter's chief of medical staff Franco Combi at the San Matteo hospital in Pavia.
The Serbian midfielder, stretchered off at the end of the first half against Palermo, has suffered no broken bones. He has been diagnosed with a capsular-ligamentous sprain of the external compartment of his right ankle.
