MILAN - Javier Zanetti believes that mistakes cost the Nerazzurri dear in Sunday's Milan derby.

"They played better in the first half," he told Inter Channel. "The team gave a good reaction after the restart but unfortunately it wasn't enough for a draw. We were a bit careless when they scored and you can't concede advantages of this kind in these matches.

"We won't lose heart now. We're looking ahead and we will make our best preparations for the Tim Cup semi-final against Lazio and the game against Siena. We have the chance to play the decisive match of the season in front of our fans."
