MUNICH - Amantino Mancini scored a delightful goal as Inter defeated Bayern Munich in Tuesday's prestige friendly at the Allianz Arena.

"It couldn't have gone better than this," said the Brazilian winger. "I want to congratulate the whole team. We played well and we have climbed two more rungs - important steps towards the Super Cup.

"Mourinho always asks me to push forward and I think I made him happy with the goal. We won against a great team that was in better condition than us, but the strength of the group came through.

"I'm settling in well, I always try to do what the coach asks me."
