MILAN - Patrick Vieira, who injured his right calf in the warm-up before Saturday's 2010 World Cup qualifier between Romania and France, underwent medical tests on his return to Milan this afternoon.
According to Inter doctor Franco Combi's diagnosis, the French midfielder has suffered a strain of the posterior tibial muscle.
Vieira will report back to the training ground on Tuesday.
