APPIANO GENTILE - After last night's Serie A victory over Lazio in Rome, the Nerazzurri were back training this morning in preparation for Tuesday's Champions League Group B trip to Bremen (the squad will fly to Germany on Monday morning).

Those who played most of last night's clash at the Olimpico went through a 'warming-down' session, performing exercises on the pitch and in the gym according to individual necessities. Mario Balotelli, who scored twice in his ninety minutes with Inter Primavera against Treviso yesterday, trained with this group of players, as did Cristian Chivu and Nelson Rivas who continued with some individual work with Rui Faria.

The rest of the squad, including Inter Primavera goalkeeper Luca Stocchi, performed warm-up, possession and shooting drills before finishing off with a series of practice games on a small-sized pitch. Patrick Vieira continued his injury rehab with an individual session.

Hernan Crespo, Olivier Dacourt, Walter Samuel, who are not on Inter's Champions League list, had today off. So did Francesco Toldo, who is still recovering from an ankle sprain.

Julio Cruz, who came off injured in the first half against Lazio, underwent medical tests (performed by professor Franco Benazzo and supervised by Inter doctor Franco Combi) at the San Matteo hospital in Pavia. Combi described the Argentine striker's injury (a left leg hamstring strain) as "nothing particularly serious".
