MILAN - José Mourinho analysed his team's Tim Cup performance against Genoa in a pitchside interview with Rai Sport after Tuesday evening's extra time victory over Genoa.
"The team played a spectacular second half. We can talk about Genoa being with a man less, but we created ten, twelve scoring chances," said the Inter coach.
"Adriano did his job. He still has to improve his velocity and self-confidence but I'm satisfied with him and the whole team. I'm not concerned about the missed penalty. We all make mistakes, the important thing is to have the right attitude, desire, respect for the team and the fans. If Adriano works like this, a missed penalty means nothing."
Mourinho also commented on the performance of Crespo, adding: "Hernan was unlucky not to score, but was lucky to have a pleased coach."
