APPIANO GENTILE - Bologna first, then Manchester United. That was the message José Mourinho gave in his press conference ahead of Saturday's Serie A clash at the Stadio Renato dall'Ara.

"We're just thinking about Bologna," said the Inter coach. "My team selection will be based exclusively on tomorrow's match, not Tuesday's. The league is more important right now. We'll start thinking about the Champions League from six o'clock tomorrow."

Mourinho will be without suspended pair Nicolas Burdisso and Cristian Chivu against the Rossoblu, while Marco Materazzi is still recovering from a thigh problem. Victor Obinna, Hernan Crespo and Luis Jimenez have been omitted for technical reasons.

"There won't be any messing around in this match against Bologna. Whoever messes about will be joking with the team and with me, and whoever jokes with me won't play on Tuesday, so for this reason I'm confident that we will play against Bologna with serenity, to win."

Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic stoked the pre-match fire with a few declarations yesterday but Mourinho has no intention of being drawn into a war of words: "I think he's still a young coach, but a coach who has a great chance of having a good career, and I wish him this," said the Portuguese. "Sinisa might know Inter very well, but sometimes too much information can be confusing instead of useful."
