MILAN - The day after Inter's defeat to Naples, Massimo Moratti replied to questions from journalists this morning beneath the Saras offices in Milan's city centre.
This is what he had to say:
President, it wasn't a great Inter last night...
"Sometimes there are matches when nothing goes right. The crowd spurred on Napoli, who put our players in difficulty. Anyway, it was an off-night, and like Mourinho said, the match could have easily ended 0-0, but it's not enough when a team is looking to win the championship."
What worries you more, your lead being reduced, or Milan are in second place?
"Milan have had more or less the same championship as Juventus. Both teams are on a par this year. What worries me is that we have to do well, nothing else."
Berlusconi said that they (Milan) would be close to Inter now if Adriano hadn't scored with his hand in the derby...
"I'll have to count Milan's penalties first, then we'll talk about it..."
Your interpretation of the famous interview given by Zlatan Ibrahimovic?
"I don't think it was so exaggerated, and besides, it was a few weeks ago. I have already given a hint to Ibra. We will speak, but I don't think he seemed nervous or anything like that."
Do you think Ibrahimovic should be more grateful to Inter, given that he is the highest paid player?
"No, but he is. He is, absolutely."
