Vieira: "Luis Figo is number one"

MILAN - After a special day at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Patrick Vieira spoke about Inter's title celebrations.

"It was a wonderful party," he said. "We celebrated really well today; it's always nice to play the last match at home.

"Having the chance to spend these years alongside a player like Luis Figo has been wonderful. As a man, he's number one.

"This season has been a bit unlucky for me from a physical point of view, and when I returned my team-mates were doing very well in midfield and it was difficult for me to get in the team, but the most important thing is winning the championship."
