Inter have scored 199 goals in their 112 competitive meetings with Sampdoria (104 home matches, 95 away games). Inter's first goals against the Blucerchiati were scored by Zaprain and Campatelli in a 2-1 victory on 2 February 1947. Bassetto replied for the Genoans on that occasion.
