100th appearance in A for Foglio

If selected for Siena against Inter, Paolo Foglio will make his one hundredth appearance in the Serie A. Foglio made his Serie A debut in Atalanta 2-2 Fiorentina on 15 September 1996. He has also played for Atalanta, Reggina, ChievoVerona and Siena in the Italian top flight.

Long unbeaten run at home for Siena

In their last seven matches of the 2002/03 Serie B season, the Tuscans let in just one goal, scored by Borgobello in Siena 0-1 Ternana on 19 April. In the whole season, Siena conceded a total of seven goals, keeping clean sheets on 14 occasions.

September a good month for Papadopulo's teams

With 14 victories, 17 draws and 7 defeats, current Siena coach Papadopulo enjoys a good record in the month of September. His points per match average is 1.55 for the ninth month of the calendar year, bettered only by June, with an average of 164 points per match.

Six wins and a draw in September for Cuper

If Papadopulo's record in September is impressive, Hector Cuper's is even better. Since coming to Inter and Italy in 2001, the Argentine has managed 6 victories and 1 draw (2-2 away to Parma on 9 September 2001).

Cannavaro to celebrate two milestones

Fabio Cannavaro will celebrate his 300th Serie A match on Sunday. It will also be his 400th as a professional. The Italy captain made his debut in the top division in Juventus 4-3 Napoli on 7 March 1993, while his absolute debut as a professional goes back to 2 September 1992 and Napoli's 3-0 victory away to Modena in the Coppa Italia. Cannavaro , who has played for Napoli, Parma and Inter, has also collected 35 appearances in the Coppa Italia and 62 in Europe.

Same goes for Toldo

Inter keeper Francesco Toldo will make his 300th Serie A appearance in Sunday's match away to Siena, his 500th as a professional footballer. The Padua-born custodian made his top flight debut in Fiorentina 2-1 Cagliari on 4 September 1994, with his absolute debut coming three years earlier: Trento 2-0 Centese, a Serie C2 match played on 8 September 1991. Toldo has played for Trento, Ravenna, Fiorentina and Inter, and apart from the Serie A appearances has played 31 matches in the Serie C1, 38 in the Serie C2, 33 in the Serie B, 44 in the Coppa Italia and 53 in European cup competitions.

Inter one away from 400th away victory and 1500th goal

From Tuscany to... Tuscany. Inter's first victory in the one-division Serie A championship came 74 years ago. The Nerazzurri beat Livorno 2-1 away, with Rivolta scoring the Milan-based side's first goal in the 31st minute. Since then, Inter have won 399 times away from home in the Serie A, with 1499 goals scored.
