In detail:

2002/03 Serie A Modena-Inter 0-2 0-2

Baggio looking for 17th goal against Nerazzurri

With 194 goals to his credit, Roberto Baggio is the top Serie A scorer still playing. Il Divin Codino has scored 16 of those in matches against Inter, his favourite target. Baggio's last effort against the Nerazzurri came in Brescia 1-0 Inter on 29 April 2001.

Di Biagio also up against favourite target

Luigi Di Biagio is another former Nerazzurri player who has scored more against Inter (and AC Milan) in his career than against any other club. Of his 61 goals, the midfielder has put 5 past both Milanese sides.

No clean sheet for Brescia since May

Brescia have played 10 official matches so far this season (5 in the Serie A, 4 in the Intertoto competition and 1 in the Coppa Italia) and have let in 19 goals, at least one goal on every occasion. The last time Brescia kept a clean sheet was in their 1-0 win at home to AC Milan on 10 May 2003. Since then the Nerazzurri's Lombardy rivals have let in 24 goals in 12 matches played.

Worst scoring start to season for Inter in 20 years

Inter haven't scored so few goals in the first 5 weeks of a Serie A championship for 20 years. In the opening 450 minutes of the 1983/84 season, the Nerazzurri scored just twice: Bini against Sampdoria and Altobelli against Napoli. At the end of the championship (30 matches), Inter had totalled 37 goals.

Nerazzurri goal invincible away from home for 469'

Cuper's troops haven't let in a single goal in their last 5 competitive away matches (Serie A and Champions League). Gautieri was the last player to put a goal past Toldo in Nerazzurri away matches when his 71st-minute strike cancelled out Martins' opening goal in Atalanta 1-1 Inter on 3 May 2003.

No Inter penalty since March

Among the Italian big five (Juve, Inter, AC Milan, Lazio and Roma), Inter are the Serie A side that await a penalty the longest. Juventus, Lazio and Roma have all been awarded penalties so far this season, while the last time AC Milan were given a penalty in the Serie A was at Piacenza on the last day of last season. In Inter's case you have to go back to Inter 4-0 Como on 16 March 2003 when Vieri missed from the spot. Since then, 14 championship weeks have passed (the last 9 of the 2002/03 season and the first 5 of the current campaign).

Inter favoured in regional derbies away from home

From 1994/95 to today (the '3 points for a Serie A victory' era), Inter have lost just two regional derbies played away from home: Brescia 1-0 Inter on 29 April 2001 and AC Milan 1-0 Inter last season. The Nerazzurri boast 13 wins and 8 draws in the other 20 Lombardy derbies since 3 points were awarded for a win (against Atalanta, Brescia, Como, Cremonese and AC Milan).

BRESCIA - Inter came back from two goals behind to force a draw in Saturday's Lombardy derby at Brescia.

Roberto Baggio put the home side in front after 21 minutes of play when he capitalised on a goalkeeping mistake by Toldo and shot into an open goal.

The veteran striker created his side's second four minutes after the restart when his right-wing cross was headed home by Caracciolo.

Cuper responded by throwing on Cruz for Kily and two minutes later El Jardinero pulled a goal back for the Nerazzurri with a diving header from Recoba's pass over the Brescia defence.

Christian Vieri levelled the score three minutes from time with a superb finish from the penalty spot after Cruz was sent reeling by Dainelli.
