Javier Zanetti: 135 consecutive appearances from Livorno to Livorno

Inter captain Javier Zanetti has played 135 Serie A games on the trot. The last Italian league match he missed was Inter's 4-1 win at home to tonight's opponents Livorno on 25 October 2006. The Argentine has played every league game in 6 of his 14 seasons at Inter.

Four clean sheets since 4-3 win over Siena

Inter have not conceded at home in Serie A since Maccarone's 65th-minute goal in Inter 4-3 Siena on 9 January 2010. The Nerazzurri have since hosted AC Milan (2-0), Cagliari (3-0), Sampdoria (0-0) and Genoa (0-0).

Inter unbeaten at home since November 2008

Inter's last home loss was a 1-0 Champions League defeat to Panathinaikos on 26 November 2008. The Nerazzurri have since played 38 games at home, winning 27 and drawing 11.

Milito+Eto'o=points

Diego Milito and Samuel Eto'o form the most decisive strike partnership in the 2009/10 Serie A after 29 rounds of matches. Their goals have earned Inter 29 points (15 Milito, 14 Eto'o).

Pandev prolific against Livorno

Of his 68 goals for Italian clubs, Goran Pandev has scored more against Livorno than any other team, with 6 goals in games against the Amaranto.

No Livorno win against Inter since November 1947

Livorno haven't beaten Inter in a competitive fixture since their 3-2 Serie A victory in Florence on 16 November 1947. On that occasion Tieghi scored a hat-trick for the Amaranto (3', 20', 25'), with Soldani (own goal 15') and Quaresima (76') on target for the Nerazzurri. In the successive 13 meetings between the two teams there have been 11 Inter wins and 2 draws.

Livorno without a win in 10 games

With three draws and seven defeats since their 2-1 home victory over Parma on 10 January 2010, the Amaranto have ammassed only three points from their last ten Serie A games.

Foul-play Livorno

Livorno have had eight red cards this season - more than any other team apart from Sampdoria. The Amaranto players who have received their marching orders in 2009/10 are De Lucia (twice), Lucarelli, Marchini, Moro, Perticone, Pieri and Rivas.

Few Livorno scorers in 2009/10

Only eight different Amaranto players have hit the target in this season's Serie A. They are: Bergvold, Danilevicius, A.Filippini, Knezevic, Lucarelli, Pulzetti, Rivas and Tavano. Udinese are the only other side with as few different scorers after 29 rounds of matches.

MILAN - Samuel Eto'o followed up his Champions League winner at Stamford Bridge with a sublime double as league leaders Inter saw off cellar dwellers Livorno in Serie A Week 30 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Cameroon striker, who hadn't netted in the Italian championship since his effort against Lazio in December, scored twice in five minutes to put the Nerazzurri in total command against Serse Cosmi's Amaranto.

Thiago Motta laid on his second assist of the game after the break to set up Maicon for Inter's third goal.

With Sneijder and Santon out injured and Stankovic unavailable through suspension, Mourinho made several changes to the side that drew away to Palermo at the weekend. Chivu, Materazzi and Cordoba returned in defence with Quaresma starting alongside Eto'o and Pandev in a three-pronged attack.

After an evenly-balanced opening period Eto'o broke the deadlock on 36 minutes, controlling Thiago Motta's ball into the box and swiftly turning Perticone before arrowing his shot beyond the reach of Rubinho.

Eto'o came close to a quick second from Quaresma's cross but was denied by Rubinho, who could do little to stop the Inter number nine from doubling Inter's lead in the 41st minute.

Chivu, in the starting lineup for the first time since his head injury against Chievo on 6 January, floated the ball across to Pandev on the right and the Macedonian crossed to Eto'o who took the Amaranto keeper by suprise with a magnificent overhead kick.

Maicon wrapped up the points sixteen minutes after the restart with his first goal at home since last season's effort against Werder Bremen in the Champions League. Put through by his compatriot Thiago Motta, the Brazilian right-back blasted past Rubinho from a tight angle on the right.

The win puts defending champions Inter four points clear of city rivals AC Milan who lost 1-0 at Parma, and Roma who join the Rossoneri in second place after their 2-0 victory at Bologna.
