No joy for Leonardo against Rossi

Leonardo has lost both his previous match-ups against Delio Rossi as a coach - the two Serie A 2009/10 fixtures between AC Milan and Palermo.

Leonardo v Palermo

Leonardo's only two head-to-heads with Palermo are the same as those between him and Rossi: as AC Milan coach he lost home and away in Serie A 2009/10.

One win in 21 for Rossi against Inter

This is the 22nd time Delio Rossi has faced Inter as a coach in a competitive game, with only one win to date: Lecce 2-1 Inter in Serie A on 2 May 2004. In the other 20 games he has drawn 5 and lost 15. The Stadio Meazza has been a particularly unsuccessful hunting ground for Rossi: 1 draw and 9 defeats in 10 attempts.

Inter: two more for a ton against Palermo

Inter need two more goals to make it 100 in all competitive fixtures against Palermo. The first of the Nerazzurri's 98 against the Sicilian side came on 8 January 1933 in Ambrosiana 5-1 Palermo, when Pietro Serantoni scored from the spot in the ninth minute.

Cambiasso to make it 200 Serie A appearances

Should he play today, Esteban Matìas Cambiasso will celebrate his 200th match in Serie A. The first of his 199 appearances - all of which have come with Inter - dates back to 11 September 2004, in ChievoVerona 2-2 Inter.

One home defeat for Inter in last 60

Inter have lost just one of their last 60 competitive matches played at the Stadio San Siro: the Serie A match against AC Milan on 14 November 2010 (0-1). The Nerazzurri's record in the other 59 games in that period is 45 wins (including all 6 of the last 6) and 14 draws.

Eto'o's sharpshooting against Sirigu

Palermo and their goalkeeper Sirigu have been Samuel Eto'o's favourite targets since he arrived in Italy: 4 of his 40 strikes have come against Palermo with Sirigu in goal. Likewise, Inter and Eto'o have been Salvatore Sirigu's worst nightmare: of the 126 goals he has conceded in his career, 8 of them have been scored by Inter.

Two-tone fair play: black and blue, pink and black

Inter and Palermo are two of three teams in the Serie A 2010/11 season - along with Cagliari - who are yet to have had a player sent off. The last player to be given their marching orders in a league tie for Inter was Muntari on 12 March. Since then they have played 30 league games. Palermo are also one of two teams in Serie A 2010/11, along with ChievoVerona, to have had the most players sent off against them - five to date.

Four-hour shut-out for Palermo's defence

Palermo haven't conceded a single goal in competitive fixtures since 16 January, when they let in three away to Cagliari (3-1). Biondini scored the Sardinians' third goal in that game after 55 minutes. Since then, in the remaining 35 minutes of that match plus the home games against Brescia (1-0, Serie A) and Parma (0-0 after extra time, 5-4 to the Sicilians on penalties in the Coppa Italia), Palermo's defence has remained unbreached for 245 minutes.

No penalties for Palermo in 2010/11

Palermo are the only team yet to have been awarded a penalty in Serie A 2010/11. Their last spot-kick was converted by Cavani on 16 May in Atalanta 1-2 Palermo. Since then they have played 21 Serie A games.

Goals throughout the Palermo team

Palermo are one of 6 teams in Serie A 2010/10 to have scored through 10 different players (the others are Bari, Juventus, Milan, Roma and Udinese). The 10 Rosaneri players to have hit the net so far are Bacinovic, Balzaretti, Bovo, Ilicic, Maccarone, Migliaccio, Miccoli, Nocerino, Pastore and Pinilla.
