MILAN - Mirko Santoro and Andrea Mancini scored in each half to give Inter's Giovanissimi Nazionali side a 2-0 victory over AC Milan in the final of the 27th Carletto Annovazzi Tournament.
Santoro scored from a free kick to give Massimo De Paoli's side an 18th-minute lead at the Centro Sportivo Enotria. Mancini finished off a well worked move to double the Nerazzurri's lead on 64 minutes.
Inter's 13th Annovazzi Tournament triumph was watched by Roberto Mancini (who presented Alberto Gallinetta and Matteo Romanini with the best goalkeeper and best player awards), Inter managing director Ernesto Paolillo, academy director Piero Ausilio, base activity head Roberto Samaden, a number of youth team coaches including Daniele Bernazzani (Inter Allievi Nazionali), Fabio Calcaterra (Inter Esordienti A) and Gianluca Andrissi (Pro Sesto Primavera), and Pierluigi Casiraghi, head of the Inter academy scouting network.
