Defender Rigione signs from Chievo to become seventh Azzurri international in Bernazzani's squad

MILAN - Promising young defender Michele Rigione has completed a move from Chievo to Inter's youth academy. The Italy Under-17 captain, born in 1991, joins Daniele Bernazzani's Allievi Nazionali team on loan from the Verona-based club. Inter have an option to buy the player at the end of the loan period.

With the addition of Rigione, there are now seven Italy Under-17 internationals in Bernazzani's squad. The others are strikers Mattia Destro and Simone Dell'Agnello, midfielders Marco Ezio Fossati and Davide Santon, defender Luca Caldirola and goalkeeper Alberto Gallinetta.

In other academy moves, Hungarian striker Gyorgy Nikischer (born 1990) joins Inter from Vac Varos in his native country, and will move on loan to Pro Sesto where he will play for the Serie C outfit's Juniores Berretti team. Midfielder Fabrizio Biava (born 1983) has completed a loan switch to Serie C2 side Pizzighettone.
