AMSTERDAM - Inter and Sevilla played out a lively 0-0 draw in the opening match of the LG Amsterdam Tournament.
José Mourinho used all of his players except Toldo and Jimenez as the Nerazzurri's pre-season preparations gathered pace.
Mario Balotelli had a golden chance in the opening minute at the Amsterdam ArenA but Javi Varas narrowed the angle to save the 17-year-old's low strike after he was put through by Rivas.
Sevilla's first chance fell to Colombian defender Mosquera in the 9th minute. He chested a pass into the box before sending a low angled shot just wide of the far post.
Hernan Crespo went close twice in a sustained period of Inter pressure, hooking behind Balotelli's long corner before volleying wide Stankovic's whipped cross into the six-yard box.
The Spaniards hit back and Romaric had a free kick save by Julio Cesar in the 35th. The Inter keeper then spilled a shot from Luis Fabiano but made amends to deny Jesus Navas a chance from close range.
Mourinho made one-half time switch, introducing Maicon for Muntari and pushing Zanetti into a midfield position. Sevilla brought on Konko and Koné on for Mosquera and Capel.
Inter made an encouraging start to the second period and eight minutes in Balotelli saw his backheeled shot saved by the Sevilla keeper after meeting Maxwell's pass. Crespo's follow-up finished wide.
Mancini, who scored Inter's winner against Bayern Munich in midweek, narrowly missed from an inviting position, stabbing wide Maicon's first-time cross to the left edge of the six-yard box.
Mourinho made two changes to his attack in the 61st minute, bringing on Adriano and Luis Figo for Balotelli and Crespo. Three minutes later his Sevilla counterpart Manuel Jimenez replaced Luis Fabiano with Javier Ernesto Chevanton.
The former Lecce forward tested Julio Cesar with a classy angled shot from Maresca's through ball, but the Inter shotstopper blocked with his feet.
Javier Zanetti then tried from distance but his low shot was too central to trouble Javi Varas.
Inter made another double substitution in the 73rd minute. Zlatan Ibrahimovic received a rapturous applause from his old fans as he came on for Mancini, while Pelé replaced Dejan Stankovic.
The Nerazzurri survived a scare in the 82nd when Julio Cesar blocked Chevanton's close-range follow-up after superbly parrying Renato's curling shot, but had a chance to seal victory when Figo one-twoed with Adriano, only for Javi Varas to block.
