Julio Cesar, Maicon's national team come from behind to beat USA 3-2 in Johannesburg

JOHANNESBURG - Julio Cesar and Maicon's Brazil came from two goals down to beat USA 3-2 in the final of the Confederations Cup.

Dempsey and Donovan scored inside 30 minutes to give USA a commanding lead at half time, but Luis Fabiano reduced the gap seconds after the restart before bringing the teams level on 74 minutes.

Lucio headed in a late winner with six minutes left to play to give Brazil their third triumph in the competition's history.

The Inter goalkeeper and defender played from start to finish at the Ellis Park Stadium.
