Training ground friendly against Inter Primavera

Walter Samuel undergoes medical tests in Appiano Gentile. Diagnosis: right thigh muscle strain

APPIANO GENTILE - Inter trained this morning ahead of Saturday evening's Serie A Week 5 match against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico (kick-off 20:45).

Rafael Benitez divided his players into groups for Thursday's training. Those most used against Bari last night did light training while the rest of the squad played a forty-minute training ground friendly against Inter Primavera.

Thiago Motta, Obiora Nwankwo and Nelson Rivas trained apart.

Walter Samuel, who came off injured in the first half against Bari, underwent medical tests this morning. He has been diagnosed with a right thigh muscle strain.
