Appiano: Internationals back, examinations for Chivu


For the player, injured in Italy-Romania, a groin strain in his right leg

Appiano Gentile - The Nerazzurri who were away with their respective national squads have returned. Only Coutinho (who was not played by Brazil), trained regularly with the group, whilst Davide Santon (after an initial part with the group), Wesley Sneijder and Javier Zanetti carried out a recovery session. For Cristian Chivu, treatments at the training ground 'Angelo Moratti', followed by some physical exams at the 'IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo' Foundation of Pavia, accompanied by professor Franco Combi, head of the medical team. The exams were made necesarry by the muscle injury suffered by the player  during the first half of the friendly game Italy-Romania and they confirmed a groin strain in his right leg.

Individual recovery sessions for Maicon, MacDonald Mariga, Diego Milito, Thiago Motta, Sulley Muntari, Joel Obi and Walter Samuel.
