APPIANO GENTILE – A short while ago at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti the team’s training came to an end. It was the third session of the week ahead of the Serie A TIM Week 18 game Inter-Napoli, which is scheduled for Thursday 6 January at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium in San Siro, Milan (kick-off 20:45). After the warm up the team carried out some exercises with the ball and some short themed matches on reduced size pitches. Samuel Eto’o (who has one more match ban to face) trained with the team and then carried out some extra aerobic work over medium distances. Treatments and physiotherapy for Wesley Sneijder; and Coutinho carried out a complete recovery session.
Treatments also for Julio Cesar after the tests carried out by the Nerazzurri medical staff yesterday highlighted a slight strain to his femoral bicep in his left hamstring, though they also confirmed a complete recovery from the previous injury to his right leg.
Tomorrow will be the last training session for the team ahead of Inter-Napoli, and it will be conducted behind closed doors at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium in San Siro, Milan where, from 13:00, Leonardo will give his pre match-day press conference (entrance to the facility for journalists and TV crews will be from bay 8 starting from 12:30; no photographers).
