Appiano: ahead of Udine, test results for Milito

Training in groups, Motta partially with the team; first degree hamstring strain for the striker

APPIANO GENTILE – Just a few minutes ago the team’s training, at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti, came to an end. It was the Nerazzurri’s first session after the win over Cesena, and the team began their preparation ahead of their next fixture: the Serie A 2010/11 Week 21 game, which is scheduled for Sunday 23 January 2011 at the Friuli stadium against Udinese (kick-off 12:30). Leonardo and his technical staff divided the team up into two separate groups. In the first group were the players majorly involved in yesterday evening’s match, and they carried out individual recovery sessions. Normal training for the second group, which also included Coutinho and, for part of the session, Thiago Motta.

Diego Milito underwent some treatments and physiotherapy after he was examined early this morning by Dr Franco Combi’s medical staff, following the muscle problems he suffered in his left leg during the first half of Inter v Cesena. The exams highlighted a first degree muscle strain to the biceps femoris in his left hamstring.

Julio Cesar, Wesley Sneijder and David Suazo all continued in their specific individual programmes.
