Transfer market: Alborno joins Primavera

18-year-old Paraguayan with an Italian passport: one of the brightest South American prospects, now at Inter

MILAN - Name: Rodrigo. Surname: Alborno Ortega. Position: left-sided midfielder. He was born in Paraguay on 12 August 1993 (but holds an Italian passport) and he's one of the most promising young talents to come out of South America. Lots of big European clubs were tracking him but now he's an Inter player, joining from Club Libertad after making 20 appearances (league and Copa Libertadores - becoming one of the youngest ever to appear in the competition). He has signed a five-year contract with the Nerazzurri that runs to 30 June 2016. He will join Andrea Stramaccioni's Primavera (U-19) team, which will resume training tomorrow at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti in preparation for the Giorgio Lago Memorial tournament against Giorgione and Juventus in Castelfranco Veneto (province of Treviso).
