APPIANO GENTILE - Diego Milito is ready to dye his hair blond, Andrea Ranocchia is prepared to shave all his off. What promise can Javier Zanetti make if Inter were to win the Scudetto? "I'll let the fans mess my hair up!" laughed the immaculately groomed captain, tonight's guest on Prima Serata. The full interview will be shown on Inter Channel at 21:00.
While he chatted with Roberto Scarpini, images from Zanetti's long career at the club were being shown on the screen, going all the way back to that day on 17 August 1995 when he made his Nerazzurri debut: "It was Inter 1, Vicenza 0 with Roberto Carlos getting the goal. I'll never forget my first experience of the San Siro. I was so happy with the win and also with my performance - I did well that day. It was a challenge for me to see if I was up to playing for a team like Inter. And I was. Unforgettable!"
From the Inter of then to the Inter of today, which saw a three-man back line rolled out for the recent match against Chievo. A solution that everyone seems happy with: "We must be positive, we have the men who can do the job. We'll move forward convinced about what we're doing."
