The Primavera coach spoke to the press after his side’s 3-1 victory over Parma, which saw the Nerazzurri qualify for the Viareggio Cup knock-out stages

SAN GIULIANO TERME – There was an inevitable note of satisfaction in Stefano Vecchi’s voice as he spoke after the Nerazzurri Primavera beat Parma 3-1 in their second group-stage match of the Viareggio Cup.

Inter were forced to come from behind on the night, but proved their credentials by winning the match to book their place in the round of 16: "We were under pressure at the beginning, especially as Yao wasn’t at 100%. We were playing well, but on the defensive side of things we went to sleep on a couple of occasions. Having said that, we did excellently to turn the match on its head thanks to Rapaic’s goal and the brace from Camara. Their goals made it much easier for us."

Nerazzurri goalkeeper Andrei Radu has a big say in the match, coming up with some excellent saves to help his side out: "He’s got great potential and is very important to us. He’s doing very well at the minute and must continue in the same vein."
