MILAN – It’s never easy to come into a settled team, especially as goalkeeper. But that’s exactly what Juan Pablo Carrizo did on four occasions during the 2015/16 season, proving his status as a consistently reliable alternative to Samir Handanovic.
Carrizo made his first appearance of the season in the comprehensive 3-0 Coppa Italia win over Cagliari at San Siro. Next came another Coppa Italia match, this time against Juventus. In what proved to be one of the most exciting nights of the season, Carrizo helped Inter secure a 3-0 win over the Bianconeri, only for penalties to prove a step too far for the Nerazzurri.
His first Serie A appearance came against Palermo at San Siro, as Inter once again sealed a win (3-1) with the Argentine between the sticks.
