Croatia dream ended by Portugal in last 16

Brozovic and Perisic played the full 120 minutes but couldn’t stop Portugal sneaking a 1-0 win after extra time on Saturday night

MILAN – Croatia are out of Euro 2016 after they were beaten 1-0 by Portugal on Saturday night.

Inter players Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic played the full game but were powerless to prevent Ricardo Quaresma scoring a 117th-minute winner to send Portugal through to the quarter-finals at Croatia’s expense.
