Di Carlo v Inter

The current Parma boss faces the Nerazzurri for the first time in his coaching career.

Mancini set for 200th match as Inter coach

Inter v Parma will be Roberto Mancini's 200th competitive match as coach of Inter. In the other 199 games he has collected 127 wins, 52 draws and 20 defeats. Mancini's debut on the Inter bench was a 1-1 draw at Basel in Champions League qualifying on 11 August 2004. His 199 matches are subdivided as follows: 132 in Serie A, 26 in Coppa Italia, 38 in European cups and 3 in Italian Super Cup.

Inter's long scoring run at home

The Nerazzurri have scored in 47 consecutive league games at home, netting a total of 112 goals. Inter 0-0 Reggina on the last day of the 2004/05 season was the last time Mancini's team failed to score in a Serie A home match.

Di Carlo and points in January

Domencio Di Carlo's teams do particularly well in the first calendar month, with a points per match average of 1.89 thanks to 11 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats from 19 league games.

Parma only team yet to play out scoreless draw

Parma are the only team taking part in the 2007/08 Serie A championship that has not drawn a match 0-0. The Gialloblu's last goalless draw was away to Lazio on 20 May 2007.

Parma's poor away form

Parma have won just once in their last 29 Serie A away matches, a 4-3 victory over Palermo on 22 April 2007. The Gialloblu have drawn 10 and lost 18 of the other 28 matches. Parma haven't scored away from home in the league since their 1-1 draw at Palermo on 31 October 2007. A total of 357 competitive minutes have elapsed since Morrone's goal in the third minute of that game.

MILAN - Inter came from behind to defeat Parma 3-2 in a drama-filled evening at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Esteban Cambiasso opened the scoring on the half hour with his third goal in as many games, but Luca Cigarini levelled ten minutes later.

Parma substitute Andrea Gasbarroni scored with a curling free kick after the restart and looked to have condemned Inter to their first loss in all competitions since last September's Champions League defeat to Fenerbahçe.

But Inter weren't done and Zlatan Ibrahimovic converted a penalty kick two minutes from the end after Couto was shown a straight red card for hand ball.

In time added on the Swedish sorcerer scored his eighteenth of the season to complete the comeback and literally lift the roof off the Meazza.

The win keeps Inter's seven points clear of Roma, who won 2-0 at home to Catania.

Roberto Mancini gave January signing Maniche his debut against the Gialloblu and the Portuguese international was a constant force in midfield, setting up his team-mates and testing Bucci with a couple of long-range shots.

Inter broke the deadlock on 30 minutes after a splendid solo effort from Ibrahimovic. Cigarini failed to clear the resulting corner, taken by Jimenez, and Cambiasso pounced to lash home from ten yards.

Parma were level within ten minutes, Luca Cigarini running on to Reginaldo's cross and hitting first time past Julio Cesar.

Maniche set up Crespo and Jimenez as the Nerazzurri made an encouraging start to the second half.

But Parma came back strong and Couto headed against the post, forcing Cesar into a goalline clearance.

Parma sub Gasbarroni stunned San Siro into silence three minutes after coming on, scoring with a left-wing curling free kick that took a slight deflection off Jimenez.

Bucci denied Cambiasso an equaliser with a splendid reflex save and from the resulting corner the Argentine had a goal disallowed for offside.

With time running out Couto saw red after handling Ibrahimovic's shot in the area. Match referee Gervasoni pointed to the spot and the Swede sent Bucci the wrong way to sent up an exciting finale.

In the second minute of injury time Vieira steered wide to Cruz and the Argentine crossed to Ibrahimovic, who controlled and fired past Bucci, sparking wild celebrations.
