First match-up between Stramaccioni and Sannino

This is the first time that Andrea Stramaccioni and Giuseppe Sannino have sat in opposite dugouts in a competitive fixture.

Defeat for Sannino in reverse fixture - his only previous clash with Inter

Siena's 0-1 home defeat to Inter earlier this season was the only time Sannino has faced in Inter in a competitive match.

Stramaccioni's first against the black and whites from Tuscany

Andrea Stramaccioni is facing Siena for the first time in Serie A.

Inter unbeaten against Siena; 2 (and a half) Scudetti secured against the Tuscans

Inter have yet to lose against Siena in 15 competitive fixtures played home and away: 11 Nerazzurri wins and 4 draws. Siena bring back fond memories for Inter, who have clinched two of their 18 Scudetto successes after playing the Tuscan side: in 2006/07 and 2009/10. The Nerazzurri beat Siena 1-2 away on 22 April 2007 with six games of the season remaining to claim the 2006/07 Scudetto; then a 1-0 win on the last day of the 2009/10 season (16 May 2010) sealed the league title for Inter on their way to treble success. Inter v Siena was also the scene of celebrations for the 2008/09 Scudetto, on 17 May 2009, but it had been won the night before during Inter's pre-match retreat in Appiano Gentile when AC Milan lost 2-1 away to Udinese. 1-2.

Pazzini on fire in April - his highest-scoring month

For Giampaolo Pazzini, April (as well as March) is the month in which he has scored the most goals throughout his career: 13 of his 89 career goals to date.

Inter v Siena: opposite penalty records

With the 3 penalties awarded to Genoa on 1 April, Inter have now had 9 penalties given against them in 31 matches this season. This not only means the Nerazzurri are the side with the most penalties against them in the 2011/12 Serie A campaign - tied with Cesena and Genoa - it also equals the club's record since the start of a unified top flight in Italy: in 1985/86 the Nerazzurri also had 9 penalties awarded against them. Siena have benefited from 8 penalties this term (the same number as Napoli), only one less than Catania and AC Milan, who hold the joint record.

Sannino's subs

Siena are one of 4 Serie A teams in 2011/12 to have made the most use of substitutes: 93, the same number as Catania, Chievo Verona and Juventus.

Siena's fair-play

Siena are one of only two sides (together with Chievo Verona) that have had a single player sent off in the current campaign. Brienza is the only Siena player to have been shown a red card - against the Nerazzurri in the reverse fixture (Siena 0-1 Inter, 27 November).
