Bologna host an in-form Internazionale side who have not suffered defeat in 11 Serie A matches on Thursday at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.

Internazionale earned a 1-0 victory over Torino at home in their last league match to extend their unbeaten streak to 11 (W9 D2 L0), putting them four points ahead of Milan at the top of the table.

Bologna are in 10th place on 27 points, having scored 27 goals and conceded 31. With 19 matches to play, the Rossoblu trail sixth-placed Roma by five points for a spot in the Conference League Qualifiers. Bologna also won their last Serie A match 3-0 at MAPEI Stadium - Città del Tricolore against Sassuolo, snapping a three-match losing streak.

When the two sides last met in Serie A action, Inter won 6-1 at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in September. Edin Dzeko led the Nerazzurri with goals in the 62nd and 68th minute. Lautaro Martínez, Milan Skriniar, Nicolò Barella, and Matías Vecino also were on target. Arthur Theate scored the only goal for the Rossoblu in the 86th minute.

Inter have got the better of Bologna of late with wins in three straight clashes, dating to December 2020. The Nerazzurri have outscored the Rossoblu 10-2 during their winning streak.

Martínez has been the leading attacking threat for Inter, scoring on 11 occasions, including three match-opening goals. He ranks fourth for goals scored in the league in 2021/2022.

Marko Arnautovic and Musa Barrow have caught the eye for Bologna this season. Arnautovic is the side's leading scorer with six goals. Barrow has been nearly as impressive, scoring five times, including two match-openers.

On home soil this season, Bologna have secured 16 points (W5 D1 L4) from a possible 30 on offer in 10 Serie A contests. With seven wins, two draws, and just one loss on the road, Inter boast a fine away record in league away matches this campaign. The Nerazzurri are looking to add to a five-match away unbeaten streak (W4 D1 L0). They haven't been defeated away since October 2021 against Lazio.

In their last six league matches, Bologna have won three and lost three. Inter, meanwhile, are unbeaten in 11 straight league matches this season.

Inter’s Hakan Calhanoglu will miss this match due to disqualification; the Turkish midfielder has been involved in the most goals in Serie A since November 2021: 10 (five goals and five assists) out of the 21 goals scored by the Nerazzurri in the period.

Inter’s Denzel Dumfries has either scored or assisted a goal every 164 minutes on average in Serie A this season, the best ratio among defenders with at least 400 minutes played.
