Porto make three changes to the side that lost at San Siro, with Fabio Cardoso, Stephen Eustaquio and Evenilson coming into the team for the injured duo of Pepe and Joao Mario, as well as Otavio (suspended).

We'll start with Inter, who make five changes to the team that lost to Spezia and all but ended their hopes of winning Serie A.
Andre Onana comes into the side, as does Federico Dimarco (replacing the injured Robin Gosens), Haken Calhanoglu (Marcelo Brozovic), Denzel Dumfries (Danilo D'Ambrosio), and Edin Dzeko (Romelu Lukaku).
The only omission from the first-leg tie is Milan Skriniar, with Dumfries included instead.

Inter have won three of their five previous matches against Porto, all played in the Champions League. All of the Nerazzurri's wins have come at San Siro: in addition to the first leg in February, Inter won 3-1 in the second leg leg of the round of 16 in 2004/05 with an Adriano hat-trick and in the group stage of the 2005/06 Champions League thanks to a Cruz brace. In Portugal, the Nerazzurri drew 1-1 in the 2004/05 round of 16 and lost 2-0 in the group stage the following season.

The referee for Porto v Inter, the second leg of the UEFA Champions League 2022/23 round of 16, will be Poland's Szymon Marciniak.

His assistants will be Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz, Fourth Official will be Pawel Raczkowski. VAR is Tomasz Kwiatkowski, Assistant VAR Bartosz Frankowski.

Inter have won four of their last seven away matches played in the Champions League knockout phase. All four of the Nerazzurri's successes have come in second leg matches: these were victories against Liverpool (2021/22), Bayern Munich (2010/11), CSKA Moscow and Chelsea (2009/10).

Romelu Lukaku scored the winning goal in the first leg: the Belgian boasts eight goals in 12 appearances for Inter in the Champions League. Notably, Big Rom has scored a goal every 111 minutes: this is the best average among Inter players who have scored at least five goals in the European Cup/Champions League.
