INTER PLAY OUT GOALLESS DRAW IN TIM CUP

UDINE - Everything is still to play for in the Tim Cup quarter-final after Udinese and Inter played out a goalless draw at the Friuli on Tuesday evening.

After an indifferent opening period Inter upped their game in the second half, particularly after the entrance of Greek international Karagounis, who added more verve in an attacking midfield position.

After three call-ups, Zaccheroni handed Primavera striker Isah 'Aly' Eliakwu his first-team debut, and the young Nigerian immedately showed signs of a good understanding with fellow countryman Obafemi Martins.

The two sides meet at the Meazza for the return leg in eight days' time. In the meantime, the Nerazzurri host Empoli in the Serie A on Sunday.
