INTER PRIMAVERA 2003/04: STRIKERS

MILAN - One hundred and twenty goals in one season. An impressive tally for the Nerazzurrini, whose strikers caused problems for Primavera category defences week in week out.

Eros Bagnara, was born in Treviso on 27 April 1985 and played for his local team before joining Inter in January 2004. Understudy to Meggiorini, Piovaccari and Eliawku, he hasn't had many chances to show his talent. But in 10 appearances (8 in the championship, 1 in the Tim Cup and 1 in Viareggio), Bagnara has scored 5 goals (all in the championship, including one against his former team).

Isah Abdulahi Eliakwu, known by his teammates and friends as Aly, is considered by many as the new Obafemi Martins. Born in Lokoja, Nigeria on 25 October 1985, he joined Inter from Reggiana in 2002/03, then had a stint on loan to Parma this season. But that didn't stop him from scoring an incredible 38 goals (21 in the championship, 11 in the Tim Cup and 6 in the Carnival Cup) in 39 matches (25 in the championship, 9 in the Tim Cup and 5 at the Viareggio Tournament).

Riccardo Meggiorini is the revelation of the Primavera Championship. Born in Isola della Scala on 4 September, Inter bought him from Bovolone last summer. This season he played 39 matches (25 in the championship, 11 in the Tim Cup and 3 in the Carnival Cup) and scored 18 goals (11 in the championship and 3 in Viareggio).

Federico Piovaccari (pictured) was born in Gallarate on 1 September 1984. He joined Inter from Pro Patria last summer and was one of Daniele Bernazzani's most present players in 2003/04, with 40 appearances to his credit (26 in the championship, 9 in the Coppa Italia and 5 in the Carnival Cup) and 20 goals (11 in the championship, 5 in the domestic cup and 5 in Viareggio).

Like many of his Inter Primavera teammates, Sergio Tornelli joined the Nerazzurrini from Pro Sesto. Born on 23 February 1985, Tornelli's best weapon is his left-foot shot. He arrived at Inter at the start of the 2000/01 season and in 2003/04 made 13 appearances (9 in the championship and 4 in the Coppa Italia).
