LEICESTER - Inter beat Leicester City 2-1 at the Walkers Stadium thanks to first-half goals from Santiago Solari and Lampros Choutos.
Mancini's men took a 26th-minute lead when Solari raced on to a delightful backheeled assist by Choutos then with just the Leicester keeper to beat slotted coolly past Henderson.
Inter's two Greek players combined for Inter's second in the 31st minute, Karagounis whipping in a cross from the right for Choutos to chest down then drive into the net.
Brazilian keeper Julio Cesar outfoxed the Leicester attack with a series of fine saves to keep a clean sheet going into the break.
Roberto Mancini gave six Nerazzurri academy players a taste of first-team action during the course of an evenly-balanced second half, with Primavera keeper Giacomo Bindi the only sub left on the bench at full time.
Leicester reduced the deficit in the 87th minute when striker Chris O'Grady, on for Dion Dublin, sent Julio Cesar the wrong way from the spot after a penalty area foul on de Vries by young defender Bonucci.
Inter meet Crystal Palace on Wednesday, then face Norwich on Friday before rounding off the England tour with a match against Portsmouth on Sunday.
