APPIANO GENTILE - Inter and Roma are no strangers in Italy's domestic cup competition: the two sides meet in the quarter-final stage of this season's Tim Cup after four consecutive finals.
"Roma are a great team," said José Mourinho, whose team has already faced the Giallorossi twice this season, winning the Super Cup in Milan after a penalty shootout in August before their emphatic 4-0 league win down in the capital last October.
"When they were having a difficult time in the championship and the Champions League, they were one of the few to say they could win something important," he added. "They have quality players and it will be a great match tomorrow night."
Mourinho is expecting an immediate reaction from his players after Sunday's defeat at Atalanta. "The group on the pitch will be the same as in the last matches, the one I consider the strongest possible, and Ibrahimovic, Zanetti, Muntari, Cambiasso and Maicon will definitely play," he confirmed.
And he is expecting positive things from Mario Balotelli, Ricardo Quaresma and Amantino Mancini, all back among the call-ups. "Quaresma and Mancini have worked silently for many days, and they have worked well; they deserve a chance," he said. "As for Mario, I have already said that I am satisfied with his work. He has improved, so he has been called up."
