Zanetti: "Not scared"

"The match has come at the best time. We have everything right to win it"

APPIANO GENTILE - Inter captain Javier Zanetti is a veteran of the side that faced Manchester United over two legs in the Champions League a decade ago, but the Argentine is confident the outcome can be different this time.

"Unfortunately, I have bad memories of that match," he said during today's pre-match presser, "but we have to look to the present and to tomorrow's match, not to the past. Tomorrow we face a great team who are doing well in their league and the Champions League, but we're a competitive team too and tomorrow's clash will be between two great clubs who intend to progress in Europe.

"We have prepared for the match in great detail and I believe we have everything right to win it. We are in great form, we won our last league match and we have great desire. We have a great chance of winning."

Zanetti agrees that Ronaldo will be a key player for United, but explained that Inter can contain the Portuguese winger with a compact performance. "He is a fantastic player but we have to keep things tight all over the pitch and not give anyone space to cause us problems, and if we can do this then we might inflict some damage ourselves.

"They are one of the best teams in Europe but we're good enough to go through. We have set high standards at Inter and we always try to improve, so this is a big chance for us to show what we can do."
