Chievo-Inter: three youngsters with first team


Lorenzo Crisetig, Giulio Donati and Alen Stevanovic in squad for Wednesday's Serie A Week 18 match

APPIANO GENTILE - José Mourinho has included academy players Lorenzo Crisetig, Giulio Donati and Alen Stevanovic in his squad for Wednesday's Serie A Week 18 match away to Chievo.

Midfielder Lorenzo Crisetig, born in Cividale del Friuli on 20 January 1993, joined local side Audace di San Leonardo at the age of nine. After one season he transferred to Udine-based team Donatello where he remained for five seasons. Cristeig joined Inter aged 14. He played for the academy's Under-15 and Under-17 teams before joining Inter's senior youth team (Primavera) at the start of this season. At international level he has played for Italy's Under-16 and Under-17 teams, representing the latter in last year's Under-17 World Cup in Nigeria. Lorenzo made his non-competitive debut for Inter's first team in a friendly match against Bahrain in Kapfenberg, Austria last August. He became the youngest ever player to be named in Pierluigi Casiraghi's Italy Under-21 squad at the age of 16 years, 7 months and 8 days.

Defender Giulio Donati was born in Pietrasanta on 5 February 1990. He started playing football aged 4 for Versilia di Querceta, where he remained until the age of 10, when he transferred to Centro National di Viareggio. Three seasons later he joined Lucchese and spent five years with the Tuscan club before joining Inter, where he is currently in his second season with Inter Primavera. After taking part in first-team friendlies against Lugano, Piacenza and Vaduz, Donati was handed his full debut against Livorno in the 2009/10 Tim Cup last sixteen on 16 December 2009. He took part in the winter training camp in Abu Dhabi and played one half of the friendly against Al Hilal in Riyadh.

Attacking midfielder Alen Stevanovic was born in Zurich on 7 January 1991. He started playing football age 8 and spent eight years with Radnicki Novi in Belgrade and six months at Radnicki Obrenovac before joining Inter in January 2009. Among the substitutes in last December's Tim Cup clash against Livorno, Stevanovic took part in the Abu Dhabi winter training camp and played 74 minutes of the friendly against Al Hilal in Riyadh.
