APPIANO GENTILE: AFTER PARMA, THREE GROUPS

The squad trained this morning at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti; rest day tomorrow; back to work on Wednesday

APPIANO GENTILE - This morning, after the success in the league against Parma, Inter returned to the pitches of the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti. Rafael Benitez, together with his technical and medical staff, divided the team into three groups. In the first there were those players majorly involved in yesterday's game, and they carried out a regenerating session on the pitch, except Lucio, Wesley Sneijder and Thiago Motta who conducted a specific recovery work. In the second group were all the other available Nerazzurri - including Sulley Muntari (4th consecutive session), Davide Santon and Samuel Eto'o -, after the warm up they carried out exercises working on pressing and ball possession, tactics and a match on reduced size pitch. Involved were five Primavera (under 19s) players: the defenders Simone Benedetti, Cristiano Biraghi and Felice Natalino, the striker Denis Alibec, the goalkeeper Alberto Gallinetta. Finally in the third group, were those players who carried out rehab sessions: Cristian Chivu, Amantino Mancini, MacDonald Mariga, Diego Milito and David Suazo also on the pitch for some aerobic work; Coutinho, Julio Cesar, Maicon and Walter Samuel with the physiotherapists in the gym.

Tomorrow will be a rest day. Training will resume Wednesday morning.
