Leonardo: "Let's not work out all the permutations"

"It was a big result but there are lots of games to go yet. Let's just keep on like this"

MILAN - I think today we saw the Inter that we've been used to seeing for a long time - the one that knows exactly how it wants to play, with players who are on form and capable of playing the kind of football they always have. The four games we've won so far were all very different but I must admit that today we were put in a near-perfect performance," explained Leonardo at the end of the game that saw Inter cruise to a 4-1 win over Bologna.

The coach was asked if this Inter team has a weakness, to which he replied in all honesty: "Perhaps dead-ball situations are a weakness, though it may just be a coincidence."

Then the question about his move to Inter from AC Milan: "I've always tried to live my life serenely; I'm trying live to the full a situation that is wonderful, different and yet tricky. I respect Milan but now I have a great relationship with Inter."

When asked about the Scudetto, Leonardo replied: "There are lots of games to go; now is not the time to start working out all the permutations; we just have to keep it up. Certainly this win tonight was a big result. It was a game in which Milito and Eto'o looked for each other and linked up well, and Pandev did the same. When you see that level of understanding between players it's a sight to behold."

Then came the inevitable mention of Josè Mourinho, who had words of praise for Leonardo today: "I don't want people to think I only talk about him because he was successful here, but he has always been so nice and helpful to me. His words make me happy. And we're talking about the best coach in the world at the moment."
