APPIANO: ENTIRE SESSION WITH THE TEAM FOR STANKOVIC

The Serbian trained with the team; individual work for Julio Cesar; and a visit from Benoit Cauet

APPIANO GENTILE – Just a few minutes ago, at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti, the team’s training came to an end. This was the second session ahead of the late kick-off of the 18th round of the Serie A TIM 2010/11, which is scheduled for Thursday 6 January 2011 at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium in San Siro, Milan (kick-off 20:45). After a recovery day yesterday, Dejan Stankovic resumed regular training with the team. Julio Cesar on the other hand carried out some specific individual work. As planned, Samuel Eto’o was back from his leave of absence (which was granted to him as he is banned for one more match and will not be available against Napoli) and he carried out an individual aerobic session. Specific recovery training, with therapies and treatments, for Wesley Sneijder; Coutinho instead, completed recovery session on the pitch. Amantino Mancini, Walter Samuel and David Suazo are all still on their leave of absence.

Leonardo and the team received a visit from Benoit Cauet: the former midfielder, who played 146 games for Inter (scoring 8 goals) from 1997 to 2001 and with whom he won the UEFA Cup of 1998, was the coach’s teammate in their playing days – with PSG in France – and in their coaching courses for 1st and 2nd professional class.
