MILAN - F.C. Internazionale and Abu Dhabi Sports Council are continuing to collaborate closely: together they have organised three coaching courses for children aged 9-12 on the training pitches at the Zayed Sports City Complex (where the Nerazzurri won the FIFA Club World Cup 2010), in what is the final step before a permanent Academy is set up.
The courses will take place 6-23 February, 6-16 March and 10-27 April and will be run by a team of five trainers from Inter's youth academy (including a specialised goalkeeping coach) alongside five local coaches, under the supervision of coordinator Marco Monti. A workshop involving members of Inter's coaching staff will be held 20-24 March for local trainers. (Schedule)
When all the courses have finished, on 28 April, there will be a tournament at the end of which the four winning teams, the best player in each age category and the best goalkeeper of the tournament will receive an official Inter shirt signed by the first team.
