Transfer market: Pandev moves to Napoli on loan

A temporary agreement has been signed with the Neapolitan outfit for the Macedonian forward

MILAN – F.C. Internazionale can confirm the loan transfer of Goran Pandev to Napoli. The 28-year-old Macedonian forward will temporarily leave the Nerazzurri club after making 69 appearances and scoring 8 goals, including one in the FIFA Club World Cup final against Mazembe in Abu Dhabi and his fantastic strike that completed Inter's comeback against Bayern Munich in last year's UEFA Champions League.

Pandev was brought to Italian football by Inter in 2001 and with the Nerazzurri Primavera team he won the U-19 league championship and the Viareggio Cup. After experiences at Spezia, Ancona and five seasons with Lazio, he returned to Milan in January 2010 and immediately won everything with Inter: in less than six months Scudetto, UEFA Champions League and Coppa Italia; then last year the Italian Super Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup and another Coppa Italia.
