Ranieri: "Chievo press, battle and run"

The Nerazzurri coach's words on the eve of the match against Chievo at the Meazza

APPIANO GENTILE - "Chievo have always done well, ever since I've known them: they press you, they battle and they run a lot. They caused Juve problems too so I expect it to be a tight game right till the end." Claudio Ranieri opened his press conference on the eve of the 2011/12 Serie A Week 8 game between Inter and Chievo at the Meazza by assessing the opposition.

The coach was asked if he will rotate his squad: "I don't plan to change much. I'll make a few changes tomorrow and a few on Wednesday, so there will be some rotation throughout the week. But I'm less inclined to rest those in form. Pazzini? He's in form. So will he play? [Ranieri asks himself the question - Ed.] Who knows..." he replied with a grin.

Ranieri also spared a few words for Maurito Zarate, who was decisive in Lille: "Zarate is settling in very well and I'm very pleased for him. He's young and determined to be a success, and there's every chance he will have a great season."
