Inter Channel, Alvarez: "Can't wait to start"

APPIANO GENTILE - The Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti is starting to buzz with activity; today Ricardo Alvarez, Luc Castaignos and Joel Obi underwent an afternoon training session to continue in the recovery work for their injuries.

At the end of the workout Alvarez stopped to say hello to the fans by way of the Inter Channel cameras and he expressed his enthusiasm for the new season.

"I feel good and I'm happy to be here, to have returned to work. We're hoping that this season will be better for us and for all the Inter fans. We'll work hard for this. Inter are used to aiming high, and that's how it should be," he declared to the Inter Channel microphones.

The Argentine continued: "During the holidays I did a nice job of recovering for my knee that was giving me a bit of a problem. Now I'm fine and ready to start getting down to work."

Finally, an appeal to the fans ahead of the training camp in Pinzolo: "The first time I came to Pinzolo, last year, I appreciated the enthusiasm of the fans. Please continue to support us and we'll give our all. And thanks for your warmth."
