INTER V HELLAS VERONA STAT PACK

With the help of Football Data, we've put together this collection of facts and figures about tonight's meeting at the Stadio Meazza

Eight clean sheets in last 12 home games
Walter Mazzarri's men have mostly been very solid defensively at home of late. They have kept the opposition at bay in eight of their last 12 fixtures in San Siro, conceding only to four opponents: Bologna (two) and Lazio (one) in 2013/14, Cagliari (four) and Napoli (two) this year.

Icardi the main man
Mauro Icardi is one of the four most decisive players in Serie A this season, together with Tevez, Destro and Gabbiadini. His goals have brought Inter nine of their 15 points, thanks to key strikes against Sassuolo (7-0), Cesena and Sampdoria (both 1-0).

Mazzarri and Mandorlini draw on bench resources
Inter are one of two teams in the 2014/15 Serie A campaign – along with Genoa – to have scored the most goal through substitutes. After 10 matches, Nerazzurri subs have hit the target four times: Guarin twice, Hernanes and Osvaldo once each. Hellas Verona are third (level with Lazio) with three goals from subs: Nico Lopez (two) and Ionita (one).

Moras' 200th time in Italy
Vangelis Moras is set to make his 200th appearance with Italian clubs tonight. The Greek defender has logged 199 games wearing the colours of Bologna, Cesena and Hellas Verona: 125 in Serie A, 63 in Serie B and 11 in the Coppa Italia. He made his 'Italian' debut in Bologna 2-1 Modena on 14 August 2007.

Gialloblu marathon runners
Hellas Verona have earned more points in the second half of games than any other top-flight outfit this term. Compared to their half-time scorelines, Mandorlini's charges have bagged seven points in the second period. They went from 1-1 to 2-1 against Palermo, 0-0 to 1-0 at Torino, 0-0 to 1-0 against Cagliari, 0-1 to 2-2 against Genoa, 0-1 to 1-1 at home to Lazio and away at Cesena. However, they lost points in the second 45 minutes on the road at Roma (0-0 to 0-2) and Napoli (1-1 to 2-6).

Mazzarri undefeated against Hellas
Walter Mazzarri is facing Hellas Verona for the fifth time in his coaching career today and is yet to lose. The Nerazzurri coach has won three and drawn one of his four previous encounters.

Ex-Inter defender Mandorlini always beaten by Nerazzurri
Andrea Mandorlini is up against Inter for the fifth time as a coach and he has always been on the losing end. The former defender plied his trade with the Nerazzurri between 1984/85 and 1990/91, racking up 274 appearances and 13 goals in the process. During his time at the club he won a Scudetto (1988/89), a UEFA Cup (1990/91) and an Italian Super Cup (1989).
