Under - 19s crush Palermo to make it six on the spin

PALERMO - Inter Primavera notched up a sixth consecutive league victory as they put four unanswered goals past Palermo on Saturday afternoon.

Andrea Pinamonti broke the deadlock midway through the first half when he rose to meet Senna Miangue's cross and head home beneath the bar - his 14th goal in as many games this season.

The hosts barely had time to catch their breath before Inter added a second following a glorious move, started by Pinamonti and finished by Matteo Rover with a delightful backheel from Moussa Souare in between.

In the second half Rigoberto Rivas made sure of the points with a brilliant brace. His rocket shot in the 55th minute was simply too hot for the Palermo keeper to handle and he put the icing on the cake in stoppage time when he dribbled past a clutch of pink shirts to round off the scoring.

The win takes Stefano Vecchi's side up to 36 points in the Group C standings, three points clear of second-placed Roma who beat Entella on Friday.
