Nerazzurri goal-fest in Seravezza: Stefano Vecchi's boys thrash the American outfit to go to the top of Group 4 after two matches

SERAVEZZA – Inter U19 scored a scarcely believable 11 second-half goals to defeat L.I.A.C New York 12-1 and go to the top of Group 4 on goal difference.

Despite the Nerazzurri dominance, the score was 1-1 at half-time. Inter had to wait until the 43rd minute to break the deadlock when Karlo Butic scored from the penalty spot. In the last minute of added time in the first half, the Italian-American club were handed a lifeline when the referee handed them a penalty, from which they duly scored.

Clearly Stefano Vecchi's half-time team talk worked a treat and the Nerazzurri came out for the second half a completely different animal. The coach sent Menaour Belkheir and Axel Bakayoko into the fray, with the latter putting Inter back into the lead after ten minutes. L.I.A.C's defence began the crumble at that point and Inter willingly helped themselves to the goals: Butic getting a brace along with Belkheir plus a hat-trick from Bakayoko and one apiece from Alessandro Bollini, Cristian Mutton, Zinho Vanheusden, Rigoberto Rivas and Federico Valietti.

They join SPAL on six points from two games, but Inter's goal difference is enough to put them into top spot.
